Upland Hunting At Sandy Run Hunt Co. The Sandy Run Hunt Co. game preserve sits on our Bluff City farm. Over 600 acres filled with fencerows, timber edges, reintroduced prairies, CRP fields, and food plots and strips. We maintain outstanding cover to fit different styles of hunting and different levels of physical ability. We keep the cover filled with great flying pheasant, quail, and chukars for a top quality hunting experience. You can hunt with your own dogs or we can provide a guide and dogs to add to your enjoyable sporting hunt.

Combination Hunts: Standard ½ days hunt, 8:30 am – Noon or 1:00 – 4.30
pm. Pick one combination hunt:
Guide and Dogs: $50 tip for 1/2 day hunt per group. Advanced notice required for guide and dog.
Build Your Own Hunt: Just pick the number and type of birds you would like: Must have $50 minimum in birds/hunter Pheasants $15 Chukars $12 Quail $7 (Price and availability subject to change) Guide and Dogs: $50 tip for 1/2 day hunt per group. Advanced notice required for guide and dog.
Full Weekend Hunts: This is new this year, we have expanded our
clubhouse and lodging and invite our hunters to come on out for the whole
weekend. Enjoy 2 half day standard combination hunts, clay pigeon
practice, Saturday evening meal, lodging, and Sunday breakfast for only
$250/hunter. Guide and Dogs: $100 tip for weekend hunt per group. Advanced notice required for guide and dogs. Extras Dog Training Area: Minimum 6 Quail or equivalent Bird Cleaning: $1 per bird Clay Pigeon Practice Range: $5 for 25 targets
Rules -All hunters must relax and have a safe enjoyable sporting hunt. -No alcohol allowed on the premise -FOID card required for IL Res. -Blaze Orange hat and vest required -Hunting license, non-residents can purchase a one day preserve license over the counter or online at the Illinois Department of Natural Resources website. -All hunters will be required to sign a hold harmless agreement when they pay their sportsman fee.
