Where many of these wildlife habitats have disappeared from the landscape, this is one place where these landmarks count for more than another acre of tillable ground, they count for another covey rise or big buck hideout.

Though 2008 was a tough year for trophy whitetail hunting we still have a 43% success rate for bow hunters.  Around 90% of our hunters see shooter bucks and 63% have had shooting opportunities.  The clubhouse and lodging are constantly improving make for a really nice hunting experience.  Fayette County consistently ranks in the top ten counties in Illinois in deer harvest numbers.  All the deer on the website come from Fayette County in areas on or near the lands we own or lease.

We are looking to  improve as Sandy Run Hunt Co. starts its fourth year offering bow hunting for trophy whitetail deer and upland game bird hunting for great flying pheasant, quail, and chukar.
