I have had a battle with Gmail for the past three weeks. They decided to block all my emails, not sure why. Hopefully it has nothing to do with subject of hunting, but it would not surprise me if this was the case. I am sending another email Wednesday, 9 25. If you do not receive it, let me know and we can get you set up.

I do not send an overabundance of emails, generally about 1 per week. The feedback I receive is generally positive. So please, especially if you have gmail, please make sure that you have marked Sandy Run as a genuine sender, so you won’t get blocked and I can still communicate to you.

Better yet, go to your Thryv account, which you have if you have hunted here the past two seasons, and enter your phone number and check the box to allow text messages from Sandy Run. This will be a much easier form of communication and as I stated before will just be one little notification a week during the season.

Starting the season this Sunday.

I have a nice 6 hole dog trailer for sale. This is a very lightweight fiberglass trailer that has been maintained in very nice condition. Scott Dixon has a couple of German Wirehaired Pointer males available right now.

This guy is about 13 weeks old, he has been started on live birds, basic obedience and commands. He comes out of Scott’s stud, Artemis, which is one of Hildy’s puppies, and a good looking dame, Sadie Belle.

Scott also has a five month old male. He has all his shots, is house broken, and has been started on live birds.

Steve Polcyn bred his pair of Springer Spaniels and has puppies ready to go on June 18th. Both parents are excellent hunters and family dogs.

He has three males and two females still available.

The party will be held at the Sandy Run Clubhouse and starts around 4pm with food starting around 5pm until it’s gone or everyone is full. If you would like to do some shroom hunting you are welcome to come early. Bring your pole if you’d like to try to catch some bass or bluegill from the ponds.

Multiple types of mushrooms, fish, shrimp, beer can chicken, fried tators and some crawfish with all the fixings are on the menu.

Bring a chair and what you would like to drink and I will see you the last Saturday of April.

Pretty sure there will be plenty of these this year!
