Brett Richson came out with his young brittany, Buck for their weekly pheasant hunt. Buck did is usual nice job, picking up all the birds set out plus a couple extra.

John McIntosh made it down to hunt with his friend, Darrin Peters. I got Ava and Hildy out of the kennel to find and point the pheasant, chukar and quail in the Clubhouse Field. Lots of rises, shots and hits that day in the field, great time.

Ben and Zach Rasche brought out their college buds for their second annual upland bird hunt at Sandy Run. Colton Wilkins brought his pair of dogs to find the birds scattered around the Cabin Field. Lots of action in this video with the group nailing the pheasant and chukar, but coming up short on their quail harvest.

Bryce Currie brought out his Duck Toller, Cooper, to hunt some pheasant. I set some out in the East Bottom Field and after some good hunting and chasing a couple around, Bryce and Cooper came back with all.

Randy Schmitt and Don Hanser set up a quail hunt for a bunch of their friends. They spread out over five fields with a bunch of dogs on a cold February morning. I caught a few rises of Don’s group in the Clubhouse Field, nice hunt.

Carroll and Jay Garrett brought out their setter, Roxy, to hunt some quail and chukar. They picked a nice February afternoon and Roxy did a nice job and they came back with all their birds and a bonus quail.

Bob and Joe Rinella got a hunt for a present from their Dad, Frank. Steve Sanders guided them in the Clubhouse Field going after some quail and chukar. Their lab, Vincent came along to help out. They had a nice hunt, we caught a few snippets on video of a hunt that only left a couple quail in the field.

Dave Lohmar set up a pheasant hunt for his buddies, Russ McWhorter, Christ Painter and Chuck Kellogg. Chuck brought his spinger, Raymond to find the birds I set out in the Cabin Field. I had a chance to catch a couple of the flushes by Raymond on camera. Nice day in the field for the five of them.

Ted Ellis and Alan Harris brought out their setter, Mack and Roxy to hunt some quail and chukar. I set out a few chukar in the East Bottom and later some quail coveys in the Clubhouse Field for them to hunt. I got to catch a couple of rises on camera and see the hunters down some birds.

Roger Well brought out his young lab, Timber to flush some quail for Terry Knebel, Mike Pykeman and Bob Merkel. I set out a few doubles to get Timber some work, before putting out some quail coveys in the Clubhouse Field. Terry’s shorthair, Sadie, got to join in the covey hunt and they found them all and came back some quail and an extra chukar.
