The Central Prairie Field Trial Club has decided to cancel its Spring Field Trial to be held at Sandy Run this Saturday. I believe this is a wise decision based on the average age of the participants, keeping them safe needs to be the highest priority.

With that said, I still consider small group, 2 to 4 people, upland hunting is still a safe activity for healthy, lower-risk hunters. I have plenty of pheasant and quail to hunt and now some more open fields for this weekend and tomorrow looks like it will be a perfect day for upland hunting.
