Bird Supply Report February 2nd

To my best estimation all the pheasants I have available have been booked for the season. If you have a pheasant hunt scheduled in February, I should have enough pheasant. I am not taking any more reservations for pheasant at this time.

I should have good numbers of quail and chukar available through February and the beginning of March.

Of course all this estimation is contingent on this ice and snow storm not taking down flight pens.

2022 QUGA Cumberland Chapter Youth Hunt

Sandy Run Hunt Co. and the Cumberland Chapter of Quail and Upland Game Alliance is going to do their youth hunt again this season, but a little differently. Instead of having a one day event, youth, licensed hunters 16 and under can get pheasant or chukar to hunt at any available time during the season. We hope that we will be able to interact with more kids and give a better experience than the one day event.

Youth hunters can come with their families and get to hunt a few extra birds just for them. Or, if your youth hunter needs to we can set up a guide and dog to take the hunters out after a few pheasant or chukar. Just text Bill at Sandy Run, 618 292 8680 to arrange your hunt.

Of course we will have all the clay pigeons to warm up and a door prize for each youth. Youth are limited to participating once/season.
